Each Engineered Daffodil Brushed & Oiled Oak Wood Flooring plank has a beveled edge that makes it stand out from the others. This floor can be sanded down up to six times, but for the first 15 to 20 years, you shouldn’t have to. Also, we guarantee this product for 25 years, so you can rest easy knowing that your floor will look great for a long time. This product is a distressed grade, which means that the planks have a lot of knots and other flaws. This makes a room feel so warm and full of personality.
You can install the Natural Distressed oak wood flooring in one of three ways. Option one, a “floating floor,” is made by gluing the tongue-and-groove parts of the boards together and letting the floor as a whole float. Usually, an underlay is used to make the floor more comfortable. Option two would be to secretly nail the tongue part of the plank into a wooden subfloor. The third choice would be to use flooring adhesive to stick the wood directly to the subfloor. For more information, please look at the installation tab above and download the full installation guide.
Engineered distressed daffodil wood flooring can be put in basements, kitchens, and conservatories. It can be used in a lot of different ways compared to other types of flooring because it can handle changes in temperature. This means that engineered wood is better at growing and shrinking without causing damage. Because of this, the flooring can be used with underfloor heating, which is an important thing to think about since most new homes already have it installed.
